Up high above the clouds - Memorabilia challenge

One of the mini challenges from the Counterfeit Kit Challenge is to use memorabilia on a layout. I am actually very good at doing this already. And have all sorts of ephemera from our trips on my layouts. One of my favourite things to use on a layout is actually pressed pennies - because you get an embellishment that is unique to the pictures you're scrapping and where you are.
Anyway, here's my layout for this challenge - a picture of Homer and I at the top of Blackcomb Mountain after crossing from Whistler on the Peak-to-peak gondola. I included our gondola passes on the layout.I'm not sure where the patterned paper on this layout came from, but the ledger like paper is part of the Echo Park For the Record line. The canvas hearts are cut from Prima canvas paper. The clouds are UmWowStudio and the alpha letters are Cosmo Cricket. Thanks for looking. Kylie xxx

hey, if you comment, can you let me know whether this picture and the other pictures on my blog appear blurry to you please? If I click on them, they're in focus, but they appear blurry to me. Am I saving my pictures at too high a resolution for Blogger? I'd prefer they all looked in focus without enlarging them - if you know what I mean ;-)

Your tickets are perfect, love the layout. It looks fine to me, but then again I always thinks the color looks off
on my pictures and I think it's blogger!

Pictures look fine. I have to agree that i think blogger does strange things with the photos sometimes. I usually save mine to minimum size max quality but they can also sometimes be off.

This is a super layout. First off, it made me smile as I had two holidays in Whistler back '96 and '97 and I loved the fact that there were the two mountains to choose from. Such wonderful memories. Second off, I love the design, the colours, those wonderful tiny alphas again, the inclusion of tickets, the clouds. Love love love!

I would never have thought to mix clouds and hearts in a cluster. Too cool!

Great layout (as always)
Love the little alphas and how they are random in their alignment.
The pictures are very clear and pretty to me... no blurriness at all.

Nope, not blurry here. I save my pages at 72x72 6x4s to upload.

I like the way you include your memorabilia and have been inspired by that too.

YOur layout is perfect for your pictures, and not blurry at all to me! I am wondering if you have your internet browser set to load at a lower quality to increase the speed, maybe?
