This is my first layout using my April
Counterfeit Kit. It is done using this weeks
Sketchmania sketch (#39):

The photograph in the layout was taken, by yours truly, in Austria in 2003 when Carina came to visit me in Vienna. We were visiting Schloss Schronbrunn - the summer palace of the Austrian royal family. The gardens were absolutely amazing - the palace was lovely too - but it's the gardens I remember. Oh, and the toilet - Carina and I both hopped in the stall at one stage because it was the first time either of us had seen a self-cleaning electric toilet - you know, the ones with the plastic sleeve around the seat - it was pretty cool back in 2003. The other thing I remember about this bit of site-seeing is that I saw my VERY FIRST SQUIRREL in the garden at the palace ;-) Anyway, here's my layout:

That is Echo Park paper - you can see both sides ;-) Maya Rd Bingo markers, Hearts from UmWowStudio, Maya Rd chipboard bird, ribbon from stash and the letters are Cosmo Cricket. Kylie xxx

Love the heart in the lower right - DeeDee's work????
Also, OMGosh on the lettering going around the page - that must have taken forever - but it looks GREAT!
Wow, your journaling looks like it took a long time. Nice job.
Oh, I love Schronbrunn! And, you're right, it's the gardens I remember. So, so beautiful!
Love the papers you've used - and little cork bits? Awesome.
Okay, I'm going to have to copy that journaling around the edge with those miserable little letters, LOL! It looks great! Great job getting a layout done so quickly.
Amazing LO!! I love that Echo Park paper!! The black background makes the Lo pop!! Loving that bird and the JB bingo chips! :)
Great job of using the letters, I love those! I like the shot you took too, unique! Thanks for playing at Counterfeit Challenge!
Beautiful! I love the floral orange against the black too! Your take on the sketch is fabulous!!! xoxo
This is amazing! I love your papers and the bingo chips are very cool!
Nicely done!!! Love that you already got a LO done. Wanna come do my sister's taxes so I can scrap instead of doing those? ;)
The lettering is awesome! Great job!
Love it, especially the journaling and the paper hearts.
I've not been to the Schonbrunn in ages. I'm actually a big fan of the Austrian Royal Family, have loads of books about them. Especially Kaiserin Elisabeth thanks to the musical based on her life. If this baby I'm having next week (fingers crossed) had been a girl she'd have been called Elisabeth!
Sorry, bit of a tangent there! It's a lovely layout. The Echo Park is fab paper.
I love all of the details on your page, and great job showcasing both sides of that awesome patterned paper!
Girl, that layout pops - well done!
Cool story and LO - love that journaling with the stickers.
Excellent job!
I love the dramatic color combination, and how you added your journaling along the edge!
Great job! Love the journaling.
Wow, Kylie-what a beautiful layout! Those colors pop on the black background. Fun photo, too! :)
Love the pock-a-dots... And your first squirrel? ...oh my.
