This squirrel was on The Mall in Washington DC and yes, we're bad, we fed him human food. McDonald's fries. Bad human food. You know how in Disneyland they have McDonald's fries stations that sell nothing but fries. There's one on the mall in Washington DC too. And this fat squirrel lives there. This layout was all my Counterfeit Kit. Go me! The layout is called Adapt because as a geneticist I'm always on the look out for adaptive behaviour - it drives evolution dude!Taking of science (that wasn't planned BTW), here's a picture of me and my hero. I have a picture of Albert Einstein on one side of my computer screen at work and my mate Charles Darwin on the other side. So while in Washington DC, we made sure to go to the National Academy of Sciences building and have our pics taken with Albert Einstein. What a beautiful statue of him. I loved it, it's in a little grove almost directly across the road from where the Vietnam memorial is. This is another layout done with my Counterfeit Kit.
I added some Jillibean soup Atomic soup paper and embellies to this layout so it was a little more science-y. The colours look good together, I'm just not convinced that I should switch that busy background crate paper patterned paper out. It's the paper I built my kit around and I love it and desperately wanted to use it - I went through all of my printed photos looking for inspiration to use it, so I should just leave it alone. But I don't know if I can....... What do you think?

I wouldn't switch the background, that one goes great with the photo. If you need squirrel photos, feel free to hang out here... we have tons of them all over the yard and fields.
Great layouts!!!
These are great!! Nice job using your kit!! I chuckle cuz I see squirrels most everyday~~drives my cat nuts!!
I have squirrels in my backyard everyday! Great job using your kit...and 5 layouts, you are on a roll!
I really like the pages you made, nice job.
Squirrels are rodents you know. They steal things from my garden and eat fruit from my trees. Can you tell I do not have a love affair with the pesky critters? Great layouts anyway - I wouldn't change a thing. I love the button clusters on both of these. Good job using up your kit!
Great layouts! I'm glad we got the squirrels out of our eaves last year. They're quite the pests! I like the paper.
Cool squirrel LO - we get 'em here too.
Great statue and LO, I like the paper - makes me think of ideas or hair coming out of his head :)
I wish I'd known about that statue when we were in DC. I love the atomic soup paper, going to look for some of that next month when I go scrapbook shopping.
